If you don’t understand leverage, liquidation, funding, fees, slippage, and exchange risk, you should not trade derivatives. Start with spot or don’t trade.

2. No investment advice
LiMiT Quant provides research, signals, and informational content. Nothing on the site, dashboard, or API constitutes: investment advice, trading advice, financial advice, legal advice, tax advice, or a solicitation to buy or sell any asset.
3. Market volatility
Crypto markets can move quickly and unpredictably. Liquidity can disappear, spreads can widen, and prices can gap. Even a “good” signal can lead to loss due to adverse movement, news, or microstructure.
4. Leverage and liquidation risk
If you use margin or derivatives (perpetual futures, options, leveraged tokens), your losses can be amplified. You can be liquidated rapidly and lose most or all of the margin posted.
- Funding rates can impact PnL significantly.
- Liquidation engines and ADL can close positions at unfavorable prices.
- Stop orders are not guaranteed fills (slippage and gapping happen).
5. Execution, fees, and slippage
Outcomes depend on your execution. Different venues have different fees, spreads, liquidity, and downtime behavior. Slippage and partial fills can materially change results.
- Market orders can fill far from expected levels.
- Limit orders may not fill at all.
- Fees, funding, and borrow costs can turn a “winner” into a loser.
6. Exchange and counterparty risk
Exchanges and brokers can fail, halt withdrawals, go offline, or impose restrictions. Custodial platforms carry counterparty risk. You are responsible for choosing venues and custody solutions.
7. Technology and data risk
The Service may experience interruptions, delays, bugs, API errors, or configuration changes. Any signal content can be missing, stale, incorrect, or delayed.
8. Model and signal limitations
Signals are generated from models/heuristics and are not guaranteed to work in all regimes. A model can degrade, overfit, or fail under changing market conditions.
9. Suitability
Trading may be unsuitable for you depending on your experience, financial situation, and risk tolerance. Do not trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
10. No performance claims
The Service does not guarantee profitability. Any examples, past artifacts, or historical views (if shown) are not a guarantee of future results.
